Assalamu alaikum warahmatullah. Few months ago I attended an inspiring parenting course delivered by Ustadha Zohra Sarwari from America. She was also an ambassador for Charity Right and talked about the work they do to support many poor and needy. Alhumdulilah, I too pledged to raise money to support the campaign in Sudan to feed needy school children with cooked meals for an entire year InshaAllah. It means the parents don’t need to worry where the children’s meals come from. We hope that through education inshaAllah we can help break the cycle of poverty and they can focus on their studies. Charity Right are alhamdulillah still operating as normal in schools and refugee camps in Sudan. They also support orphanages where children are completing hifdh of the Holy Quran. Please donate whatever sadaqah zakah you can. We have the blessed month of Shaaban and Ramadhan upon us. InshaAllah let us gain closer to Allah through our charity and make it a means to cool his anger inshaAllah. May Allah accept it from all of us, Aameen.
