Are You up for the Challenge?

Meat is a luxury some families can't afford.

It was the same for Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions. Meat was a rare treat, because it was expensive and only the wealthy could afford to eat it often.

In honour of the families we support, we’re setting you a challenge.

For 5 days of Dhul Hijjah, we want you to go vegetarian!

The rules are simple:

1. Go meat-free for 5 days between 1st and 10th Dhul Hijjah (AKA 12th and 21st August)

2. Share your experience with friends by posting on social media

3. Fundraise £100 to help provide food packs that feed our donor families for one month

Here's what you need to do

Sign up here and create your fundraising page today.

The challenge starts on the first day of Dhul Hijjah (or 12th August). Choose the days that work for you and pencil them into your diary. Try to choose 5 days in a row.

In the meantime, you can tell your family and friends you're going vegetarian for charity. You could even encourage them to do it with you! Download and share our flyer.
